So, the star of the show is the Blue Star RNS 6 burner 36" range.
i love her already and we haven't even met. lol, yes she is sight unseen.

I have my computer what else do i need? - there is a lot of internet dating going on these days and it works out fine for them, so it will for us too.
Here she is.

Wood Floors...aaahhhh....

After so much debating and mulling and back and forthing... we out Dark Maple Hardwood floors in - all over the downstairs!
I lOVE IT!

although I've been warned it's going to be the end of me to keep it clean.
I like clean but don't love cleaning.
That's all i have to say about that.

Right now they are shiny and free of dog prints & cat hair.

Gutted!

So water damage is very .... uh damaging.
the wood floors had been soaking up water very slowly over the course the tiny leak and once it got past the floors, it got to the walls and cabinetry.
So in order to dry it, they demo'd it all.

Makes sense yet seems overkill too.

Flood!

So this has all begun with a teeny-tiny-little bit of water.. over the course of a few weeks.
Boo.

A slab leak has gutted out entire downstairs and spontaneously begun our kitchen renovation!
Fun! and kinda not so much fun.

here's a WAY before pic... (like before we moved in 8 years ago) so yes that wall paper was NOT me.



and after lived in a bit .. changed a few things here and there that squelched any need to really dig our teeth in and remodel..


and no after the flood damage... :o(
